The twist at the end is heart-breaking, shocking, done so swiftly, I felt bereft.
I know this is a winning story because days after I read it, weeks even, I remember it.

Bella D'Arcy Reed's website

Welcome to my website, which I hope you will enjoy.

As a writer, I write the scenes in my head: what I see, what I hear when my characters speak. Having worked in Music Theatre and Community Arts, then as a Garden Designer/Historian, I have a strong visual and aural sense.

My writing is about putting these scenes and sounds into words, to share them with you, the readers.
